Doing our bit to support our local hawkers. We are not big like Seetoh, Melvin etc. We are just trying to do our small bit to support local hawkers. This is a trying period for everyone including us. And we can totally understand that not everyone wants to jump onto the online and delivery wagon. We wanted to put MySoup on an online food delivery platform as well but when we saw that they will take 30% cut plus having to pay some sort of admin fee of a couple of hundred before we can get started, we decided not to do it as the only way we can do it is to increase the selling price.

So we decided to get creative and show you how you can "re-package" hawker food to make it look nice to give as a gift to someone special, father's day, birthday or just wanting to brighten someone's day! More opportunities to support the hawkers!

We start off with the hawker center near our humble little shop, 511 Bedok North St 3. Most stalls are only open nearer to dinner time. This is one of the few hawker centers which almost everything is nice in there so having to pick 6 to feature was a tough choice. Here are the TOP 6 stalls in our opinion (in no order of preference) + 1 drink stall:
